North American DST Begins Sunday

North America enters DST this Sunday, so starting next week (with Episode #179) the stardard recording time will move from 6pm UTC/GMT to 5pm UTC/GMT.

North America enters Daylight Saving Time this Sunday, so starting next week (with Episode #179) the standard recording time will move from 6pm UTC/GMT to 5pm UTC/GMT.

We will continue to set events on our Steam group, so you should just need to check that (it’ll convert event times to your area). Alternatively, you can semi-manually convert the UTC/GMT times on the rough agendas to your timezone with one of the tools from timeanddate.com, worldtimeserver.com, etc.

The next major change is on the 25th when most of Europe enters DST, which should sync the recording time back up to whatever the usual time was before Episode #179 ― it’ll still be 5pm UTC/GMT, but most of you will have moved forward by an hour.

Then on April 1st much of Australia leaves DST, so after having the time shift back an hour with Ep#179 it’ll then move to an even earlier time with Ep#182 ― not for Dave though, unfortunately it’ll continue to be the dismal time of 3am for him after the initial change.

In summary, be extra aware of the Steam group’s event times over the next few weeks and you should all be fine.
