Podcast 17 is closed until further notice.

January 18th, 2013

As most of you probably have noticed we haven’t done a Podcast in well over a month. These types of “notices” usually start with “This year has been a busy year!!”. I won’t doubt that I haven’t been busy this year, but that’s not an excuse to stop Podcast 17 – or any project for that matter. To be honest, I'm bored of Valve content. I'm not interested in any of Valve's current endeavors and when I'm not personally enjoying the content I start to resent it; especially when I pour over 10 hours a week into the project. There are still wonderful things going on in the modding community, but you don't need Podcast 17 to tell you that. This isn't a permanent shut down -- this is just a temporary closure until things start to get interesting again... which I'm sure they will.

Podcast 17 will return, as with most of my Half-Life and Valve endeavors I go through cycles… Podcast 17 was my longest running projects. I always come back. The last time I took a hiatus like this was between Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2 Episode 1 and before that was between Half-Life and Half-Life 2.

Myself and the Podcast 17 team won’t stay silent, below you can find all the links and banners to all the wonderful content created by the folks who made Podcast 17 great. You might see me floating around from time to time, if you want to contact me personally, steam community is by far the best way, but you can also check out my personal blog too (it mainly consists of my professional developments).

I wish you all the best and we will see you when we return!

Website Rehosting, 1st March 2015

Thomas (Editor321, he runs Half-Life Creations) has kindly offered to re-host the website, including its 18GB of mp3 files, so hats off to him.

Also, the list of links in the previous update below is more inclusive now, but it's still missing a couple of unreleased sidecast pilots that aren't on the site.

It may seem like time for a Where Are They Now? montage, don't worry, most of us are still active on Steam.

Small Update, 8th July 2013

Hey, the main site is static html now. Only difference should be that it loads much faster (and feeds are served as the wrong media type).

Noticed the Dota17 redirects were broken, so fixed those while converting — sorry, they were probably broken for a very long time.

Here are some links to other things that aren't in the top menu but still exist (updated on 1st March 2015):
